Een oude tramremise, midden in de 19e eeuwse stad, wacht al jaren op een nieuwe bestemming. Een onorthodoxe kijk leidt tot strategische ingrepen in het monument: We stellen een infuus-strategie voor om het complex te revitaliseren. We brengen patio’s in waar licht en lucht nodig is. We plaatsen nieuwbouwvolumes, die geld oplevert voor de restauratie van het monumentale deel, maar ook voor een duurzame energiebalans zorgt op complexniveau.

An obsolete tram workshop, in the middle of the 19h century city, is waiting for a new life for years. An unorthodox attitude proposes a strategy of infusion to revitalise the complex: We place patio’s where light and air is needed and add a new volume to generate yields to not only pay for the restoration of the monumental parts, but also generates energy for a sustainable energy balance in the complex.
